Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Miqat (https://miqat.raqeem.dev) collects and how it is used.

Information we collect

We do not require accounts and do not ask for your name or email. Calculations run in your browser. If you choose "Use my location", your coordinates are used only in your browser to find the nearest city and are not sent to us. Your settings (such as the Asr school) may be saved in your browser's local storage.

Our hosting and security provider may process technical data such as IP addresses and browser type in server logs to deliver and protect the site. We may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics that report aggregated visit counts.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent management platform before personalized ads are shown.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have rights to access, delete or opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because we do not hold accounts or profiles, most requests concern advertising cookies, which you can control with the links above or your browser settings.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
